WHY SHOULD I PRACTICE MEDITATION??
Meditation is a game changer when it comes to increasing your focus, strengthening your intuition and reducing any anxious/stressful thoughts you may be having.
Whenever you are hearing negative talk (e.g.thats not good enough, or I can’t do that), that is your ego! Your ego tries to protect you, but unfortunately this protection can stop you from taking action and prevent you from doing things that will make you happy and fulfilled. When your mind is quiet, your ego self is no longer in charge. A great way to quiet your mind is to start a mindfulness practice. This can be listening and focusing on your breath going in and out of your body, or mindfully paying attention to every sip you take of your morning tea/coffee :)
MY JOURNEY..
Our mindfulness journey started with guided meditations. Initially we found it difficult to meditate solo. Guided sessions were a great way to quiet thoughts by focusing on the messages and music which didn’t leave space for our minds to race.
